Jim has been a licensed insurance agent since 1980. He joined the agency in June of 1981 and in January of 1999, he and his wife, Robin, purchased it from Robin’s father, John Glazier. He is a graduate from Ashland College (University) where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing, played baseball for the Eagles, and was a member of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity.
He obtained his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2000, has been past president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Ashtabula County, and a current member of the Professional Insurance Agents.
A lifetime resident of Jefferson, Jim has been actively involved with various youth programs in the community. He has coached football and baseball for his alma mater, Jefferson High School, Jefferson Little League, YMCA Basketball, church youth programs, Post 152 American Legion Baseball, and has as served on various boards. He is also past president of the Jefferson Jaycees and Jefferson Area Chamber of Commerce.
Jim’s hobbies includes golf and outdoor grilling for family and friends, traveling, cycling, and music.
Matt joined the family agency July 2008 and becamed a licensed agent for all forms of insurance by December 2008. He, along with his brother Josh, became the fourth generation in the family business.
Matt is a 2002 graduate of Jefferson Area High School where he played Baseball, Basketball and Football for all four years. He went on to attend the College of Wooster, where he played baseball for three years and received his B.A. in Communication Studies in the Spring of 2006. After graduating from Wooster, he relocated to Columbus Ohio where he worked for the Columbus Blue Jackets (NHL) until eventually returning to North East Ohio.
Matt has many roles with the agency. He primarly serves as an Insurance Agent, but was also appointed the Financial Officer in January of 2009. In additon, Matt heads the agency operations, which includes the advancement of insurance technologies and improving the every day operations of the agency.
Matt enjoys spending most of his free time with friends and family. He is an avid Cleveland sports fan and enjoys attending any type of sporting event. He also spends his springs as an assistant baseball coach at N.D.C.L. in Chardon, Ohio and loves to play golf when the weather is nice.
Cindy joined the Glazier team in 1999 and obtained her Property and Casualty license in February of 2007. She is a graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School and has been a resident of Jefferson for the last 18 years.
Her primary responsibility is Personal Lines Account Manager and is genuinely committed to providing our clients with the highest quality of service. Her other responsibilities include Accounts Receivable and Assistant Claims Manager. She obtained her CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designation in May of 2005 and is currently working towards her CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation through the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors.
Her activities include 13 years as a Sunday School teacher at the Jefferson United Methodist Church, volunteer for the Jefferson Area Little League and Jefferson Athletic Boosters, and has served on many committees for the Insurance Women of Northeast Ohio including Chairperson on the Education Committee.
She enjoys baking, boating, biking, and wine tasting and touring, and listening to Jimmy Buffet music.
Linda has been a team member since 1994. Her Primary Responsibilities are Commercial Lines Account Manager. She enjoys the business as it gives people peace of mind and helping people in times of need.
She is a graduate of Jefferson High School and has an Associate Degree in Office Management from Kent State. Linda earned her CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designation in 1998 and the distinguished CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation in 2004 from the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors. She has served on various committees as a member of the Insurance Women of Northeast Ohio, the local chapter of the National Association of Insurance Women.
Linda and her husband, Rod, have two sons and are very active in the community. They volunteer for the Jefferson Area Little League and Jefferson Athletic Boosters, and are members of the Grand River Trail Riders Snowmobile Club. Linda also serves as co-treasurer for the First Baptist Church of Jefferson and the Jefferson Athletic Boosters.
Linda enjoys snowmobiling, bicycling and the outdoors.
Rob is a graduate of the College of Wooster where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree as well as being a member of the baseball team during his four years there. Rob joined our team in July of 2009, coming from the Belcan Corporation where he was an Engineering, IT, and Technical Recruiter. After obtaining his Property and Casualty License in September, Rob became our newest Agent along with his duties as our Quality Control Manager. Outside of his work with Glazier, he is also the head JV Baseball coach at Notre Dame – Cathedral Latin, in Chardon, where he graduated from high school.
